Fairplex is Southern California's Event & Entertainment Center and home of the annual L.A. County Fair.  There's more than 500 diverse and exciting events with some of the largest consumer and trade shows, meetings, expositions, conventions, inter-track wagering, sporting events and agricultural events are presented at Fairplex each year. The Los Angeles County Fair Association is a 501(c) 5 non-profit organization and is the parent company of eight separate entities.

Work at the 2009 L.A. County Fair!

Exciting news!  The 2009 L.A. County Fair introduces a Labor Day weekend opening along with 19 nights of evening entertainment.  This year's horse racing meet will leave the starting gate for 16 days and feature a classic and import car show, live bands, wiener dog races and giveaways for fans. 

America's Kids Education Expo will go Under the Sea in 2009 with an interactive adventure to one of our planet's last frontiers.

Jurassic Planet, a prehistoric expedition featuring animated dinosaurs, an interactive archeological dig and Chomp Swamp with live alligator inhabitants fills Fairplex 8.

Bark Park is a magnificent world where everything has gone to the dogs: stunt dog shows, doggie fashions and gourmet treats and rescue dogs eager for new homes.

Going Green: Making a World of Difference has a new home in Fairplex 5 with interactive exhibits and workshops on how rainforests protect and enrich our environment and how we can all learn to reuse, recycle and renew our precious natural resources.

The Flower & Garden Pavilion is a Gateway to Africa, a floral re-creation of the diverse African landscape, featuring an actual African safari with live camels, zebras, ostriches, and more.

Millard Sheets Center for the Arts: The Making of Art Through the Ages explores the inventiveness and creativity of mankind throughout history.
