events of all sizes, offering customized
cuisine from picnic fare to ethnic dishes to
gourmet dining, all provided with flawless
service to groups of 10 to 10,000.
Food and Beverage Concessions
Fairplex formed Cornucopia Foods LLC in 2004 to manage year-round food and beverage operations. This allows for greater versatility and variety from a number of vendors. Vendors serve everything from cinnamon rolls, hot dogs, cotton candy and popcorn to fine gourmet meals available at more than 250 food and beverage stands around the grounds during the Fair. The international fare includes such favorites as African, German, Greek, Japanese, Chinese and Mexican food, along with Cajun and good old American delights.
The Sheraton Fairplex Hotel also provides catering services for meetings, conventions and special events. In 2006, the Sheraton Fairplex Hotel was designated operator of all catering business at Fairplex, previously conducted by Cornucopia Foods. The decision was made to strengthen the financial positions of both companies. The Fair continues its trans-fat free foods, healthier, still fun, and you know there will be memorable food experiences. Cornucopia also operates stands at off-site locations for a variety of events during the year.
