Ross/McCracken Learning Expo to feature learning booths and showcase student projects.
An array of fascinating projects created by Pomona and Diamond Bar students will be on display at the 11th Annual Ross / McCracken Learning Expo on Sunday, May 6, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Pomona Fairplex. The Expo, a free event co-sponsored by the Pomona Fairplex, Pomona’s Promise, Pomona Unified School District and the City of Pomona, will also feature a variety of fun activities for visitors. The Expo will feature student school projects to view and many activities in which to participate, such as learning how to build skeletons from owl pellets, viewing stars and constellations in a huge skydome planetarium, and even watching a cow eye dissection! Parents can learn about earthquake preparedness, how to get their children into college, and get a free health screening. There will be age appropriate activities for all ages, from preschoolers to adults. The Fairplex hosts the event with free parking and admission! So bring the entire family!
