Q. What is Oktoberfest?
A. Fairplex Presents Oktoberfest is in its 12th year celebrating Bavarian music, authentic German food, and Der Ententanz (the Chicken Dance). Oktoberfest is a three-weekend long celebration that brings a drop of Germany to Los Angeles County. It’s a fun night good grub, dancing, and cold beer! Enjoy live music from tribute bands performing popular songs from all generations, plus a nightly DJ playing all the best hits.
Q. What are the dates?
A. Fairplex Presents Oktoberfest runs from October 2 – 17, Fridays and Saturdays.
Q. What are the hours?
A. The operating hours are 6:00pm to 11:00pm each night.
Q. How much are tickets?
A. Tickets range from $17-25. Buy online in advance for the best price.
Q. Where do I park?
A. Parking is located at Fairplex Yellow Lot Gate 17 (1801 McKinley Ave., Pomona, CA 91768). Parking at Fairplex is $22.50 if purchased online, $26 at the gate (Cashless – Card Only).
Q. Am I able to leave my vehicle overnight, if needed?
A. Please connect with security at the entry gate for more information.
Q. Is there a rideshare drop-off?
A. A rideshare drop-off is located at Fairplex Gate 1 (1101 W. McKinley Ave., Pomona, CA 91768).
Q. Can I pay cash?
A. Tickets, parking and alcohol are CASHLESS – CARD ONLY. Some food vendors do accept cash. There are no cash-to-card machines on grounds.
Q. Do I need ID to enter?
A. Yes, Fairplex Presents Oktoberfest is strictly for guests 21 years old and over only. A valid ID will be required to enter the event.

A valid U.S or government-issued driver’s license or identification card that must contain a photograph and date of birth
A valid U.S. or foreign government-issued passport that must contain a photograph and date of birth.
Non-U.S.- resident attendees must provide a valid passport. A non-U.S. license will not be accepted.
Q. Are Oktoberfest costumes/masks allowed?
A. We encourage guests to dress in festive Oktoberfest attire (dirndls and lederhosen), but masks or face paintings that cover the face are not permitted. The only masks allowed are N95/KN95 or medical masks that cover just the mouth and nose.
Q. Are backpacks permitted?
A. Yes, but all bags will be checked at the event entry point.
Q. Is there re-entry into the event?
A. No, re-entry is not permitted.
Q. Are there ADA accommodations?
A. Yes, the appropriate accommodations are available for guests who need assistance.
Q. Do you have a Lost & Found?
A. Yes, Lost & Found is at the main entrance.
Q. Are there any special packages at the Sheraton Fairplex Suites?
A. The Sheraton Fairplex Suites offers a special package for Oktoberfest guests. Enjoy the event and spend the night at the Sheraton, located right on the Fairplex grounds. Contact the Sheraton at (909) 622-2220.
