And the Medal Goes to…
Thank you to all the producers who participated in the 90th anniversary Los Angeles International Wine Competition.
The 2026 Los Angeles International Wine Competition received 727 spirits from 137 producers. There was a total of 7 Best of Division Awards, 83 Best of Class Awards, 263 Gold Medal Awards, 309 Silver Medal Awards and 97 Bronze Medal Awards. Special congratulations to 2024 DINO, Brut, Kakheti, Georgia, received the Don Galleano Award, Best of Show Award, Best Wine of the Competition. Best of Show awards were also awarded to BINAH, 2022 Blanc de Blanc, Pennsylviania for Best Limited Production; Chateau De Malleret, 2022 Cru Borgeois Exceptionnel, Bourdeaux AOC, France was awarded Best Bordeaux/Bordeaux Supérieur; BORN, Junami Daiginjo, Gokuhizo, Gukui, Japan was awarded Best Saké. The competition received wines from 12 countries, Argentina, Armenia, Australia, Canada, France, Georgia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Spain, and the United States of America.
