Volunteers have always been the cornerstone of Fairplex, from the first Los Angeles County Fair in 1922 to today. Volunteers serve as Ambassadors supporting our programs and assisting our guests. We offer many opportunities to volunteer and share your time and talents with us at, The Farm at Fairplex, Art Exhibits, Upland Lemon Festival, SoCal College Fair, the world famous LA County Fair and more.

Adult Ambassadors

Volunteers age 18 and older are invited to participate in the Ambassador Volunteer Program. Ambassadors work in every facet of The Learning Centers at Fairplex, including art installers, field trip docents, information booth attendants among other positions. Ambassadors come from all walks of life – ranging from college students to retirees – we have opportunities for every age and ability.

Did you know we have a fully functioning art gallery on campus (Millard Sheets Art Center), what about a 5 acre working Farm, or that we participate in community events throughout the surrounding communities? Our campus is unique in the wide range of events and programs we have not only on but off campus as well, which gives our Ambassadors the ability to volunteer in a variety of activities.
